This Privacy Policy explains how NVOV (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the App”) handles information when you install or use the NVOV mobile application. Please read this Policy carefully. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

NVOV helps you log daily income and expenses, manage budgets and goals, and interact with a virtual cat companion that grows with your habits. The App is built so that your personal bookkeeping content remains under your control on your own device.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• The NVOV Android application identified as com.nonvappko.app;
• Features within the App, including ledger, reports, budgets, goals, cat companion, settings, and local backup;
• Communications you send to us regarding privacy or support using the contact email above.

3. Our privacy principles

• Local by design: Core financial and cat-companion data you create is stored on your device.
• No account required: You can use the App without creating a username, password, or profile with us.
• Minimal access: Device permissions are requested only when needed for a feature you choose to use.
• No sale of personal information: We do not sell your personal information.
• You stay in control: You can edit records in the App, export a local backup, clear App data, or uninstall the App.

4. Information stored on your device

When you use NVOV, you may create content that is saved locally on your phone or tablet. This may include:

• Transactions (amounts, categories, notes, dates, income or expense type);
• Categories, budgets, goals, bills, and debt records;
• Assets / net-worth entries;
• Cat companion state (level, mood, stage, wardrobe / accessories, coins, achievements);
• App preferences and settings (for example theme, notification preferences, first-launch status);
• Optional images you attach yourself (for example a receipt photo), if you choose to add them;
• Local backup files you export, if you use Backup & restore.

This information is intended to remain on your device for your personal use. We do not ask you to upload your ledger to an account controlled by us in order to use the App’s core features.

5. Information we do not collect as a user profile

We do not intentionally collect the following as part of a cloud user profile:

• Full name, postal address, or government identification numbers;
• Payment card numbers managed by us as a merchant of record for your ledger;
• Precise continuous location history for advertising;
• Your contacts list, SMS content, or call logs;
• Advertising identifiers used by us to track you across third-party apps for marketing.

6. Device permissions

Depending on your device and the features you choose, NVOV may request:

• Camera / photos: only when you choose to capture or select an image to attach to a record;
• Notifications: only for local reminders you enable (for example logging reminders).

You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings at any time. Denying a permission may limit the related optional feature, but does not prevent you from using basic local bookkeeping where the App can still function without that permission.

7. How information is used

Information stored by the App on your device is used to:

• Display your ledger, reports, budgets, goals, and related screens;
• Remember your preferences and local state between sessions;
• Power the cat companion and habit-related progress features;
• Let you export or restore a local backup that you keep yourself;
• Provide local reminders you have enabled.

If you email us, we use the content of your message only to respond to your inquiry and to improve support quality where appropriate.

8. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your on-device ledger and cat data are not shared by us with data brokers for advertising.

Limited sharing may occur only in these situations:

• With your action: for example when you export a backup and use your device’s share sheet to save or send the file yourself;
• Legal requirements: if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
• Safety: to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others when disclosure is appropriate and lawful.

App distribution platforms (such as Google Play) and your device operating system may process install, update, and device integrity information under their own privacy policies. Those platforms are independent controllers of that processing.

9. Local backup

If you use Backup & restore, the App can pack your local data into a file that you save or share. That file remains under your control. Please store backups securely and avoid sending them to people or places you do not trust.

10. Data retention

• On-device App data: retained until you delete it in the App (where available), clear App storage in system settings, or uninstall the App;
• Exported backups: retained wherever you choose to keep them;
• Support emails: retained as long as needed to handle your request and for legitimate record-keeping or legal reasons.

11. Security

We take privacy seriously and rely on reasonable measures appropriate for a local-first app, including the Android app sandbox and permission prompts for sensitive device capabilities. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Please protect your device with a screen lock and keep exported backup files safe.

12. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support email, contact teoharvin89@hotmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Your choices and rights

You can protect your privacy and control your data by:

• Editing or deleting records inside the App;
• Exporting a local backup and/or clearing App data in system settings;
• Uninstalling the App to remove App storage on the device (subject to your OS backup behavior);
• Revoking camera or notification permissions in system settings;
• Contacting us about information you emailed to us.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under local privacy law (for example access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you in support correspondence). 14. Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are located in a region that requires a legal basis for processing (for example the EEA/UK), the following may apply as appropriate:

• Service delivery: processing needed to provide the local App features you use;
• Consent: where required for optional permissions you grant;
• Legitimate interests: responding to support requests and protecting against misuse of support channels;
• Legal obligation: where processing is required by law.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Where appropriate, we may also note updates in the App store listing. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
